BBC: Weatherman Walking – North Wales
BBC weatherman Derek Brockway provided digital links to his favourite walking routes in North Wales following his TV series. Some of the seafood vendors are right along these routes, providing nice stop off points!
Over the centuries thousands of people have made a pilgrimage to Ynys Enlli, Bardsey Island. In the middle ages, making two pilgrimages to the island was considered as challenging as the pilgrimage to Rome. Now adays a route has been mapped linking the ancient churches visited by the saints of the 6th century who made the journey to Ynys Enlli. From the North coast of the Llyn penisula, some of the Seafood Vendors can be found in the coastal communities along the Pilgrims Way.
